Shawn Neutgens is the Owner of Golden Eagle Electric LLC. In 1999 he joined the local 292 union and entered a four year apprenticeship. After four years of on the job training and schooling Shawn got his Journeyman’s License. After another year of work and training Shawn got his Master’s License. His 17 years of electrical work has involved residential, commercial and industrial wiring.
Experience:
During Shawn’s four years of apprenticeship he was required to work for eight different contractors. This allowed him to learn from a vast variety of different Journeyman Electricians. During the time Shawn got his Journeyman’s license he got experience in a variety of electrical fields. Shawn managed construction crews on the Light Rail Project, Spliced Fiber Optic cables, and general electrical installations. He also worked in industrial settings doing electrical maintenance and solving problems with Programmable Logic Controller systems. Shawn also worked on big projects such as condominiums, hotels and mall remodels.
Education:
Shawn has an Associate’s Degree as a Construction Electrician from Anoka Hennepin Tech. He completed a four year apprenticeship form the IBEW Local #292 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Shawn has been taught by experienced electricians and has also taught new apprentices himself. He has done a variety of different electrical jobs in different settings.

Having been an electrician for 17 years I have a variety of electrical experience. Through the years I have developed a “Do it right the first time attitude.” I try to give my customers the most efficient solution to fit their needs.
